1. Introduction

Welcome to PyExercises ("we," "our," or "us"), an educational platform for Python learning. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PyExercises website, services, and applications (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Definitions

"Account" means a unique account created for you to access our Service.
"Content" refers to all materials available on the Service, including but not limited to text, images, code examples, exercises, and learning resources.
"User Content" means code, solutions, or other materials submitted by users through the Service.

3. Waitlist and Account Registration

3.1 Waitlist

Prior to the official launch of the Service, you may join our waitlist by providing your email address. By joining the waitlist, you agree to receive communications from PyExercises regarding the launch of the Service and related updates. You may remove your email from the waitlist at any time by contacting us at support@pyexercises.com.

3.2 Account Creation

To access certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

3.3 Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your account. We encourage you to use "strong" passwords (passwords that use a combination of upper and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols) with your account.

3.4 Age Requirements

The Service is intended for users who are at least 16 years of age. By accessing or using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 16 years old. If you are under 16, you may only use the Service under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms.

4. Subscription and Payment

4.1 Premium Features

PyExercises offers both free and premium paid features. Detailed information about our subscription plans is available on our website.

4.2 Payment Terms

By selecting a premium subscription, you agree to pay the subscription fees indicated. Payments will be charged on the basis agreed upon at the time of purchase.

4.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, your account will remain active until the end of your current billing period.

5. Acceptable Use

5.1 Compliance with Terms

You agree to use the Service only for purposes that are permitted by these Terms and any applicable law, regulation, or generally accepted practices or guidelines in the relevant jurisdictions.

5.2 Prohibited Activities

You may not engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

Scraping, crawling, or otherwise extracting content from the Service
Using the Service for purposes other than learning Python
Using the Python integrated learning environment for purposes other than solving the exercises provided
Engaging in any activity that could disable, overburden, or impair the Service (such as a denial-of-service attack)
Attempting to access any portion of the Service, or any other systems or networks connected to the Service, through hacking, password mining, or any other means
Using the Service for cryptomining, web scraping, or other resource-intensive activities
Distributing, sharing, or otherwise making available content from PyExercises to third parties

5.3 Monitoring and Enforcement

We have the right (though not the obligation) to:

Monitor the Service for violations of these Terms
Take appropriate legal action against anyone who, in our sole discretion, violates the law or these Terms
Terminate or suspend access to the Service for users who violate these Terms
Limit usage in our sole discretion if we determine usage patterns are excessive or abusive

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Service Content

The Service and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of PyExercises and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both Estonia and foreign countries. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of PyExercises.

6.2 User Content

When you submit code solutions or other materials to the Service, you grant PyExercises a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, and distribute such content. This includes the right to use such content for training artificial intelligence models for Python learning purposes.

6.3 Content Restrictions

You acknowledge that all content presented on PyExercises is copyrighted and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of the material on our Service, except as generally necessary for normal viewing of the Service.

7. Termination

7.1 Termination by PyExercises

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever, including, without limitation, if you breach these Terms.

7.2 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service or contact us to request account deletion.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall PyExercises, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service
Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
Any content obtained from the Service
Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Estonia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
